I have looked – I have listened
I have seen the way of the world
I have run – I have stumbled
I will come back for you girl
One thing – To remember
Before I sail away -Some things run deeper
Than who we are today
CHORUS
Don’t look back – When you’re moving forward
Don’t look back – You wont see me
Don’t look back – To where you left a mess girl
Don’t look back – Or wait for me
I wont be there
Shifting shapes – Life in motion
Time carves men from boys – Dreams are stolen
By reality – Once children of the world
Now slaves -To the system
Taxes Banks & laws -Morality
Responsibilities -Destiny calls us all

CHORUS
Don’t look back – When you’re moving forward
Don’t look back – You wont see me
Don’t look back – To where you left a mess girl
Don’t look back – Or wait for me
I wont be there
Laughing faces -Bitter tears
Tasting the way of the world -Slowly searching
For the answers – I will come back for you girl.
