Trish Turner is professionally known as Trish Bowles. She does free lance illustrating, specializing in children’s books.
Trish has illustrated a series of small children’s books about NZ endangered species. They’re written by Marlene J. Bennetts, also a Christchurch resident.
The most popular in this series was a story about the godwits that migrate each year from Siberia and Alaska to the Christchurch estuary. It’s also been translated into Maori.
The last book in this series was launched at the time of the February earthquake. It’s about the creatures living in the estuary mudflats.
